Gay K. says, "I've been studying with Andrew Jankura who owns Soul Keys Studio for over two years now and he is truly a fantastic piano teacher. He can play and teach any genre, and although we have focused on jazz, we have also worked on holiday music and my favorite: the blues. He is patient, thorough and very creative in our lessons, making them challenging but fun. I have taken both in-person and online lessons from him and enjoyed them both. He has a true gift for teaching and loves to nurture new players. I honestly can't recommend him highly enough. I've taken music lessons for many years playing other instruments and all of my teachers pale in comparison. I feel myself improving every week that I work with Andrew. He is a consummate professional and is extremely dedicated to his students. If you're looking for a piano teacher - look no further! You have found one of the best. And he's affordable, too. All this in one teacher. You really can't go wrong studying with Andrew. Extremely highly recommended!" Read more

Tiffany O. says, "My musician friends can’t believe how much I’ve learned in just a couple of months. Brian is a superior educator—formally trained in music, with over a decade of teaching experience, and it shows. He teaches in a way that’s easy to understand, yet still pushes you to think critically about how you play. His understanding of both theory and instruments is remarkable (and as a college educator myself, I don’t say that lightly). Whether you’re brand new to piano or guitar or a seasoned musician looking to refine your skills, Brian can help. He’s incredibly patient, professional, timely, and reasonably priced. I truly don’t think you can match this level of instruction for the price—or even easily match the quality at all. Thank you, Brian, for helping turn my dreams into reality. I’m excited to keep growing under your instruction." Read more

Victor G. says, "If you're looking for a guitar teacher who can truly transform your playing, look no further than Chris Peterson. I’ve been playing guitar since I was a kid, and while I had a decent grasp of a few pentatonic shapes, chords, and power chords, everything changed when I met Chris. In just a few months, I learned more than I had in the previous 25 years of self-teaching and short courses combined. Chris has a remarkable ability to break down complex concepts into manageable steps, covering everything from scales and arpeggios to music theory, all while keeping the lessons engaging and enjoyable. One of the standout aspects of Chris's teaching is his knack for building on the foundation I already had. Even the pentatonic scales I thought I knew became more refined and expressive under his guidance. His personalized approach not only improved my skills but also deepened my understanding of music. Though I’m currently taking a short break to finish a work project, I’m already looking forward to returning for more lessons. Chris is undoubtedly the best guitar teacher I’ve ever had, and I can’t recommend him highly enough. Thank you, Chris, for all your support and encouragement! Victor" Read more

Kate E. says, "I reached out to Jennifer with a desire to learn piano. I took lessons as a child and had extremely basic music and piano knowledge. Within a few short weeks of taking lessons with Jennifer, I’ve been able to play a couple of fun pop songs using chord charts. I continue to learn more chords and expand my capabilities with each lesson. Jennifer makes it fun and easy to pick up new chords and keys. I definitely recommend Jennifer if you are looking for an easy way to learn piano." Read more

Hey there! I'm Esahm, I've been playing the saxophone for nearly 17 years and have performed in nearly every context from Jazz Big Band and orchestras, to Rock bands, Wedding Bands, Pop Stage Performances, and more. Attending Alexander W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts gave me the foundation to pursue music on my own terms, and I've been a public performer ever since. I practice a form of teaching that is highly adaptive to my students needs and personal musical passions, opting to encourage them to pursue music in a way that keeps them excited and focuses on what they really want to explore. At the same time, having participated in many audit

As a multi-instrumentalist, educator, and composer, I bring over a decade of performance experience and more than four years of dedicated teaching to my students. I began my musical journey at the age of three and picked up the saxophone at ten. My passion and dedication led me to earn a scholarship to the Oberlin Conservatory of Music, where I am completing my Bachelor’s Degree in Jazz Studies (2021–2025). At Oberlin, I was honored to be part of the Sonny Rollins Jazz Ensemble, commissioned by the legendary Sonny Rollins himself. With this group, I toured New York and Ohio, performing and leading educational masterclasses. During my time at

Brian is a very understanding and caring instructor, who is passionate about music, knowledgeable and happy to meet you where you are! He makes lessons collaborative and fun, is very optimistic and offers many options for learning. I had some scheduling issues on my end and he was more than accommodating and understanding. I wouldn't hesitate to pick up lessons with him if you've made it this far and are reading this review! Book with him!

All the teachers are extremely knowledgeable about music. Margaret Goreshnik, the director of the academy is an excellent teacher who inspires excellence and love for music. My children are taking violin and guitar lessons and have been students the last 5 1/2 years at the academy. I recommend it to anyone for any age.
