Bob’s teaching still is insightful, efficient and makes it easy to replicate.his suggestions. He explains the in multiple ways to insure connecting with the student. Not only does he detail what to do, but takes time to explain the why. I believe the student who would most benefit is one who already has mastered the basic skills.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I use a high-speed video camera with all new students and send the video to their email address.
This allows them to have a copy of the lesson they can refer to.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started teaching when I left the Professional Tour in 1973 and have given more than 50,000 lessons.
Also, having a Master Professional Certification under the PGA of America has allowed me to be educated in many educational avenues.

The standard pricing system is $150 an hour.

My first position as the First Assistant Professional at Lancaster C. C. in Lancaster PA was to play golf with the members and teach.
What types of students have you worked with?
Kids, Beginners, Physically Challenged, Seniors, Tour Players, and Low and High Handicaps are the students I work with..........
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Being able to teach someone that has a fused spine has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my teaching career.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
First, I would ask for some references and then make the decision of taking at least one lesson to see if I am comfortable with the instructor.
Also, make sure the instructor is PGA certified.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Make sure the instructor knows your lesson taking background, any physical problems and if you are able to practice and play while taking lessons.
