I am excited about teaching each student, and take pride in seeing my students learn the basics of music. I learned to play piano by ear and a young age. I was apart of jazz band in college where i took music theory. My knowledge of music will take my students to the level in their learning.

I strive to create a program catered to my student's needs. During our first meeting I conduct a languange proficiency assessment and work with the students to determine their academic goals. Then we agree on the program and the frequency of the lessons. I have a degree in Elementary Educatio n and have always taught small groups....in fact that is how I worked my way through college! Later in life I discovered a love for painting, drawing - and loved HELPING others to share their voice with the world. I love working with students of any age! I briefly taught Gifted Elementary in 2007, focusing on Science and Social Studies, after nearly getting hired in Middle School Science in 2004. I was mainly a substitute teacher, with classrooms age 3 to 18, from 2003 to 2014. I am heard after noon on national Free Speech TV and Progressive Voices radio monthly, and sometimes on public radio, to discuss voting and work life. I am currently an unarmed security guard, when I am not running for North Miami Beach City Commissioner or Florida Governor.
