Evan Cather is a Master Instructor at the Jim McLean Golf School in Miami, FL, which has been rated a #1 Golf School in United States by US World & News. He has been working/studying under Jim Mclean for the past 5 years. When he's not in Florida at the Jim McLean Golf School, Evan enjoys living on the UES & Teaching at Golf Manhattan & Randall’s Island. From 2013-2017, he enjoyed teaching at Doral Resort and Spa – home of PGA Tour’s WGC event. Also since 2013, Evan has taught at La Grange Country Club and Lake Bluff Golf Club, where he was Director of Instruction. Evan played college golf at Taylor University, in Indiana.
Evan is a Certified Swing Catalyst, Bodi Trak, & US. Kids Certified Instructor. Numerous students have found Evan on Instagram, where he has worked to grow a following of over 60k. Follow him there, @evancathergolf, and get as many free swing tips and drills as your heart may desire!
After taking a golf lesson with Evan you will leave with a clear understanding of how the body moves and how the club swings. The student will have drills and a practice plan for improvement moving forward.
