Most of my education was directed towards sports performance. I received my Bachelors in Science from Montclair State University where I major in Exercise Science and Physical Education. Because I was born in Brazil, I have over thirty five years of experience as a soccer player and over twenty years of experience as an assistant and a Youth Soccer Coach. I have strong technical skills, as well as proficiency in Portuguese and Spanish.
Here are some certifications that helped me enhance my education:
ACSM Certified Exercise Physiologist
USSF “B” National Soccer Coaching Certificate
USSF “C” National Soccer Coaching Certificate
NSCAA Advanced National Soccer Coaching Diploma
NSCAA National Soccer Coaching Diploma
TRX Suspension and Group Training
Mad Dogg Athletics
PTA Global CPT
Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Designing exercise and training programs can be challenging when faced with limitations. I learned something from each and every client I worked with over the past few years. First we need to find what are the needs and limitations, then I like to demonstrate some exercises that will work to improve those limitations in a particular sequence, discussing the rationale behind each exercise. Once limitations are gone, we move on to more challenging exercises in order to get you closer to your objectives. Still, people must leave their comfort zone.
