35 years of experience, I make all lessons fun and enjoyable, very safety conscious!
I enjoy seeing other people enjoy and appreciate the beautiful animal that we call a horse. The saying "The outside of a horse is good for the inside of a man " is such a true statement. Horses are wonderful feeling creatures that make everyone feel better just being around them !
I also enjoy watching the progress of my students and the confidence they acquire from working on their riding skills weekly.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I start by getting the student comfortable with the animals on the ground before mounting up for their ride. If they are interested, I teach them to groom and saddle their own horses so they learn the care of the horse. After all, if you don't know how to do that , you will never be able to have one of your own !!
I stay close by the rider until they are comfortable riding out on their own and then gradually I step back and let the rider take over and build up their confidence !
