I strive to create a program catered to my student's needs. During our first meeting I conduct a languange proficiency assessment and work with the students to determine their academic goals. Then we agree on the program and the frequency of the lessons. I love to help my students acquire new skills that will help them achieve goals in life ( better job opportunities, travel, communication in general).

I am a trilingual speaker of Spanish, English, and French. I'm also teaching myself Portuguese and have achieved basic conversational fluency. I was born and raised in Venezuela, thus Spanish is my native language. I learned French by being educated in fully French schooling from the age of 7, and English from private tutoring as well as from the immersion I gained moving to the US at 14 years old. I have been in university-level coursework taught in each of these languages and graduated with my Bachelor's in International Relations earlier this year. Teaching is like taking care of plants. Little by little you see them growing their stems, then their leaves, and flowers. You have to guarantee they get the appropiate conditions of heat, hummidity, water and fertilizer. If they get what they need, then they grow inevitably. A student is just alike. I do my best to guarantee my students' learning is effective and rewarding for both of us.

I am a Software Engineer with a deep passion for teaching and inspiring students. My journey as a tutor began in 2017 when I started college and worked as a science and math tutor for my university. Since then, I’ve spent over four years with Varsity Tutors, helping students excel in Math, ELA, Reading, Writing, and Spanish at various levels. I’m committed to making learning engaging, building students’ confidence, and guiding them toward their academic goals.
