Here at Oak Creek Ranch we offer boarding and lessons in multiple different disciplines. From beginners to advanced riders, old and young, all are welcome! We focus on a solid horsemanship foundation and understanding how to communicate effectively with your horse to have a fun and productive ride.
I love teaching students the wonders of horses and seeing them blossom into confident, talented riders.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
A lesson will begin with assessing a student's horsemanship and riding knowledge. The student will then groom and tack up their horse. The lesson will consist of level appropriate riding exercises regarding balance, proper posture and leg position, core strength, bit and leg cues, etc. The lesson will end with untacking and hosing the horse down.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
12 years of horse experience with 5+ years of private and group lessons along with running summer camps.

$30 for 30 minute private lesson
$40 for 1 hr private lesson
$140 for one month of 1 hour private lessons once a week
$280 for one month of biweekly 1 hr private lessons
How did you get started teaching?
I began with teaching my younger siblings to ride. It transformed into teaching other family members, friends and eventually I built a network of awesome students!
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with a students ranging from 3 years old to 45+ years old with varying abilities.
