What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I apply a team approach in achieving your wellness goals. All clients will participate in a free wellness assessment, that can be scheduled as a Zoom meeting. This way we can thoroughly discuss, understand and document your wellness goals and success. After the wellness assessment is completed, I will present the client with a wellness plan and objectives.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I do not have a standard pricing for wellness training lessons. This is because everyone's health and fitness goals are uniquely different. I enjoy developing wellness training programs, meal accountability plans and meal preparation that are personalized and results driven for each person.
How did you get started teaching?
Since 1985 at the age of 12 years old as a swimming instructor in the National Youth Sports Program (NYSP) in St. Louis, Missouri. I developed a passion for health and fitness as I physically prepared youths and teenagers learn various fitness disciplines. I had previously proven myself as a superior athlete in the NYSP program and successfully competed in various organized sports achieving great accolades and records at Clayton High School and Wydown Middle School in basketball and running. The NYSP provided me with the training and experience to develop an athlete centered and results driving training philosophy and foundation, train individuals and groups in the kinematics of swimming and fitness, receive training and education on exercise science, and demonstrate superior fitness and triathlete training, and provide daily leadership and mentoring to athletes.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with professional athletes, men and women with different fitness levels, and children. I also specialize in working with people with disabilities and injuries. I have also successfully implemented amazing fitness and wellness support groups and weight loss programs since 1991.
