About

Plain and simple, I revolve my life around golf. I've been playing the game for 20+ years, turned professional in 2011, and have been competing in high level events nationwide for a while. My experience throughout my career translates in my instruction. It is not just about a good golf swing, it's about playing the game as well. I'm not just a swing instructor, I am a GOLF COACH. I graduated from Coastal Carolina University's Professional Golf Management Program with a PGA Membership in 2011 and became certified in Teaching & Coaching in 2017.

Most recently, I played in the PGA Professional Championship at Belfair (2019) and won the 2018 Carolina's PGA Championship.

I enjoy helping people. The reaction of a student to a great shot is one of the best things both the coach and student can experience during a lesson. Secondly, the fact I can take what I know and have learned about the golf swing and pass it on to people willing to learn the game is one of my favorite things to do. It's a never-ending learning process, as I continue to learn, my students continue to get better.

    Frequently asked questions

The introduction is obviously the most important. After I get to know the student, we will go through what they've been struggling with, any injuries I need to be aware of, and if they've taken lessons from other instructors. We will then come up with a plan for the lesson, and then after the lesson, leave them with a few drills that need to be done. With every lesson I give, the student gets an email with feedback and notes from the lesson.
