Melissa is a brilliant vocal teacher and coach. She is very unique in her field. She is, in my long experience, RARE. A teacher who not only can work with all variety of musical styles and vocal preferences, she goes deeper in her coaching in helping many with “old habits, old tapes, old negative thoughts “ that deter and destroy vocalists in their desires and dreams to be good singers and performers. She has worked patiently with me for almost three years. I could not say enough about what she has done for me. In every lesson, she has been supportive, hard working and creative in knowing other avenues to work with the voice when it’s not working for the singer. She is dedicated and committed. She is all about her students and their well being. Melissa believes in hard work, but she does not cloud hard work with also, having fun! As she says, “...if you are singing and not having fun, then you are not singing! Singing is fun!” She is an extremely gifted, experienced, educated, talented woman. I look forward to just how high up the scale she IS going to take me! (Two octave E flat -above middle C for now!) 😉

Adam does a remarkable job of crafting a guitar program tailored to you. He considers multiple factors, e.g. from your level of skill and ear, to practicing habits and how your schedule affects them. His personable and structured approach will develop your dexterity and feel of the instrument, while ultimately getting you to learn the songs and styles you're eager to play. These reasons and more are why I continue to study with Adam, and highly recommend him as a teacher -- whether you're just picking up the guitar, or looking for direction in advancing your skills.
