Thin Line Equine

I would like to start first by introducing myself! My name is Kacey and I am the head trainer, riding instructor and co/owner-founder of Thin Line Equine. I get to share my love of horses and training with my other half and co/owner-founder, Tyler. We both have separate careers in Public Safety as First Responders. I am in law enforcement and Tyler is a firefighter.

I guess you could say horses are in our blood! Both of my grandmothers had horses in their younger years, but my grandmother on my mothers side trained Tennessee walking horses starting in the 60’s. My dads family owned Moss Farm in Kansas, showing quarter horses on the AQHA circut. Tyler’s Grandfather trained and raced standardbred harness racing horses in the 60’s as well.

I began riding AQHA style HUS (hunter under saddle) when I was 14. Eventually I would take a turn and begin riding Hunter/Jumpers as my main focus. I have always loved teaching and watching people grow and progress, so in 2014 I began my own lesson program ( Riding Lessons with Kacey). In 2015 I joined the Pinellas Park Police Deparment as a volunteer on their Mounted unit.

Later in 2015 I started a job as a trail guide at Cypress Breeze Farm. Quickly proving my worth I moved my lesson program to Cypress Breeze and began purchasing and retraining sale horses, Training both personal horses and horses for the Cypress Breeze business. While continuing to volunteer on the mounted unit I fell in love with law enforcement. In November of 2016 I would leave my full time job of training students and horses for police academy. In June of 2017 I left Cypress Breeze Farm moving to a private facility where Tyler and I Started Thin Line Equine.

Today Thin Line Equine offers training, lessons, showing and sale horses. Lessons starting at age 5. From complete beginners to more advanced. We strive to help each person reach their personal goal whether its learning basic riding, tuning up your flat work, jumping or winning that first blue ribbon.
