About
I focus on medical conditions and ways to heal them, beyond traditional physical therapy, which only serves to correct problems temporarily. I begin with the number 1 medical problem - lack of movement. Anybody can move; anybody can do Pilates.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Assessment first, along with questions about their goals. I being by putting the student on the reformer - I don't want to waste workout time by just talking. Assessment is much better when I can see the student move.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I trained with Nicole Perkovich and Mark Trudeau.
Nicole is a first-generation student of Pilates' only trained teacher, Eve Gentry.
Mark has a rehabilitative practice in DC.
I am certified by the Pilates Method Alliance.
I train in yoga with Gretchen Suarez, who is a first generation student of Sri Patthabi Jois (Ashtanga)
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$50 per hour of private instruction in my home studio.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching by actually doing Pilates as a musician and dancer, back in the 70's. I started helping people I knew, and writing my own papers on research I did.
What types of students have you worked with?
From very old to very young. I only take serious students.
