About
My simplistic approach to the game could take you from your first class to the golf course in just 5 lessons. In my 25+ years teaching career I have helped hundreds of players lower their handicap index. I use hands-on personalized methods as well as slow motion video analysis in every class. For intermediate to advance players I can help them using my FlightScope launch monitor.
I'm fully fluent in English and Spanish. I can also understand and speak intermediate level Portuguese
I'm available most days of the week
Seeing a big smile from my students never gets old. Golf is a difficult sport but with the adequate instruction anyone can get very far.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
New students are evaluated based on handicap index, swing skills and our findings in our GSA Swing Monitor. After the analysis we set up a plan to target areas of the game in need of improvement. A brand new player to the game will average between 4 to 7 lessons before we recommend to go out and play a round.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Ask for certifications and length of time teaching, they are both very important. Also, location and condition of their training facility. Our 10-acre facility at International Links of Melreese is a perfect place to teach all levels of the game.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Ask your teacher for a swing analysis and a teaching plan based on your needs not his or hers.
