About: Misty Grotto is a ethnomusicologist who specializes in string and percussive instruments from around the world. He has taken the cultural and social aspects of his knowledge to emphasize a deeper meaning of music and it's energy. I've been teaching most instruments including Guitar, Bass, Trumpet, Violin, Piano, Saxophone, Drums, Theory and more at christian churches and at home for over 19 years. Hearing my students playing the songs that we've been working on.

I pride myself in providing personalized lessons to my students, and making sure to develop a positive relationshi p aside from simply teaching the subject matter. I always creativity and facilitate an atmosphere of comfort and encouragement. I have been teaching music for over 6 years, and playing and writing music for over 13 years. My band has won awards in the local area and perform our original music at venues around South Florida regularly.
