Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
All students must know or learn how to groom and tack up a horse. They will be taught groundwork and safety if needed and then I will assess their riding skills and level.
I teach position and control along with the theory behind it, both on the flat and over fences.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a broad background in various disciplines from western, endurance, sidesaddle, fox hunting, jumpers, eventing, and dressage. I work with all levels and breeds. Graduate of Sweet Briar College which has one of the best riding programs for teaching and training in the country.

I work mainly with beginners and advanced riders who want to learn how to better communicate with their horses I have trained or horses they are having problems with.
