What is your typical process for working with a new student?
New students begin by learning the proper grooming process, then progress to learning correct tacking procedure and end with a riding lesson discussing posture, balance, and technique. All while learning equine behavior and horsemanship.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Associate science degree - Equine Exercise Physiology
Certificate- B Level Horse Management
Certificate - Equine Technician
Certificate - Equine Assistant Manager

$250 a month for one lesson a week.
$85 for one private lesson

What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students who have never ridden to riders well into competition in various disciplines included dressage, eventing, show jumping, and Hunter.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I am very fond of the Land Rover 3 day event held in Kentucky.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Hire an instructor that has had formal training either through a college or certification program.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Be thoughtful of your current experience and your future goals.
