About
We are a down to earth location with very friendly people and trained horses. I teach English and Western riding. My location isn't fancy but you will meet great people and awesome horses. I have been riding my whole life and teaching for over 20 years. Any and all ages are welcomed.
The most amazing part about what I do is seeing the smiles on a person's face after touching a horse for the first time. It is a beautiful moment.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I always introduce a new student to their horse to see how cautious they are. Some students are excited and some are a little scared at first. It helps me know how to approach them when it comes to being involved with the whole process. I have had a child go from being terrified to not wanting to get off if the horse in the end.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been caring for and riding horses my whole life. I have been teaching for over 25 years and loving every minute of it. It started with a little pony and now I own six horses. I am also a mother so I understand how to approach situations when they happen.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Lesson rates are $30 for 30 minutes and $50 for an hour ride.
How did you get started teaching?
I grew up helping at a local barn working during their summer camp. At that time I taught children of all ages and abilities. From there I helped at other barns to grow my knowledge of horses and teaching on them. Now I have clients that have been with me for almost 10 years. It is an amazing experience!
What types of students have you worked with?
My students are all ages from little ones up to adults. My horses have been amazing for some students with disabilities as therapy also. They work great with everyone.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I have a gelding that has some hoof issues recently and a student that used to ride him was able to work him after almost two years. She was beyond excited and they worked so good together ❤
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Take one lesson and you will see how someone treats people. If that person is personable and cares about your safety then that is what you want.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What do you want to learn or how far you want to go in this world? Do you want to just ride for fun or take it to the next level?
