She studied piano at the Royal Conservatory of Music and Conservatory Canada, where she earned her honorary certification in classical piano and music theory. She later pursued a Bachelor of Sacred Music degree at Canada Christian College in Toronto, Ontario, where she significantly expanded her musical skills through chordal arrangement, improvisation, and playing by ear in various styles.
