About
I especially love teaching the classical way of working with your horse. It involves patience and getting to understand that your horse also is communicating with you. It's a privilege to be able to ride an animal that willingly submits to your authority through trust and praise and good riding skills.
I enjoy helping the rider to make a partnership with their horse. Until a horse fully trusts you there is no real partnership. You must be patient and consistent and kind. Then your horse not only is willing under saddle but desires to spend time with you. That is a true partnership and that is always my goal when I teach.

I recommend a lunge lesson combined with a private lesson at least 2-4x a month.
i do not have a school horse so my goal is building up your partnership and trust with your own horse. We do this through correct communication of your seat and legs, gentle hands, and a willingness to listen to your horse with compassion and understanding what your horse needs from you to be successful.

Find someone who emphasizes compassion and patience when working with a horse. You cannot set a timetable, the horse will show you when he is ready by his willingness to obey. Partnership depends solely on trust.
Your job is to be the best rider you can be so you can communicate clearly to your horse.
