Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
It alll depends on the individual student. Everyone has a different learning style. I try to figure out how each student responds best to instruction, and do my best to make it easy to make the necessary changes to the swings to create the desired result.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been a golf instructor for 15 years, and have taught more than 10,000 lessons. I teach studnest from as young as 4 to seniors. While I'm not running clinics and teaching private lessons, I serve as the the head high school golf coach at NSU University School.
Prior to teaching, I was the captain of my college golf team and played several Canada tour events. I have worked as the Director of Junior Golf at a local country club before starting my own company.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I offer private lessons, clinics, as well as 3-day golf schools. Please message me for the most updated pricing.
How did you get started teaching?
Once I got into the golf industry, I knew my passion was teaching. I have worked with students from the age 5 and helped them grow into collegiate golfers, but also enjoy working with the casual golfer who just wants to play better golf. I love making a difference in their game. Nothing is better than getting a text saying I shot my best round to date!
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with all different types of students from celebrites to touring players to 4-year-olds. I travel full time with one of my tournament players, and am always looking to improve the skills of each of my students.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would hire me because Im extremely passion about golf. My clients say my best asset is that I'm "super patient" and you can see that I am truly passionate about helping my students play better.
