I have been an instructor/coach for over 35 years.
i do most of my instruction at Harmon Golf in Rockland, MA
I founded the Rockland Junior Golf Program.
I am a Top 50 U S Kids Golf certified Instructor
I also enjoy teaching all levels of adults both men and women
In 2018, I will be introducing a new program called "Your Journey in Golf" which will introduce or enhance a player's knowledge of the Game of Golf and their fundamentals of a golf swing/motion
In 2001, I was the National PGA of America's Jr golf Leader which is now called Player Development Award
in 2010 I was inducted into the New England PGA Hall of Fame
I use Video for all of my lessons
I enjoy meeting new golfers and hope that I will be able to start them on their “Journey in Golf” in a positive way.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
# 1: make student comfortable so they are not intimidated by the Game
#2: have fun with the students to make the game more enjoyable
#3: keep the learning experience simple
#4: use video to show the student their and and through visualization learning and understanding would be simplified

I do have a standard pricing system and would discuss the plans with the student so that I understand their needs and goal.
I do discount my lesson fees for junior golfers
How did you get started teaching?
Started teaching when I first became an Assistant Golf Professional and since then I have enjoy being a part of a student who wants to learn and understand the game of golf

I have worked with:

Ladies of all ages and ability
Men of all ages and abilty

I have taught a young lady since she was six years old and now is on a golf scholarship at a D1 university.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Talk to the PGA professional about what you expect from your lessons.
