Eric V. says, "Coach Ephraim is a great hitting coach. He's patient and is able to break down proper mechanics in a way that my 10 year old can understand and translate to the field. He provides exercises to do in between lessons and genuinely cares about his players. He's honest but encouraging. My son's travel ball coach has made a point to acknowledge the improvement he has seen in my son's contact and frequency of line drives." Read more

My name is Carson Crossley, I played high school baseball at Windermere High School and played my first two years of college at Seminole State College of Florida and finished at the University of West Georgia. I have coached the last three summers for the Freshwater Storm. I cover a pitching background but am fully confident in my abilities to coach offensive and defensive skills. My biggest reason for wanting to work with the next generation of baseball players is to give back to the game that has been so good to me and teach life lessons that I have learned on/off the field.

I’m 33 years old and have been playing baseball since I was 10. I’ve had the privilege of playing throughout high school and college, which has given me a well-rounded experience in the game. I’m patient and passionate about coaching, and I take pride in helping kids develop their skills both mentally and physically. “1ST SESSION FREE,” which will be an hour long if you travel to a local park near me. That gives the parent and child a chance to see if they want to proceed or not. I also have a 3-year-old son, whom I’ve been training, and I must say, he’s already showing incredible potential—he’s a stud in the making! I truly believe that

Your Baseball Training questions, answered

Answers to commonly asked questions from the experts on Lessons.com.

How much do private baseball lessons cost?

Private baseball lessons cost $50 to $75 per 30-minute lesson and $80 to $140 per 1-hour lesson. The price depends on your location, the instructor's experience and reputation, the student's age, and whether the lesson includes extras like a video analysis of the player's performance.

Many coaches offer lower prices per lesson if you purchase a package that includes 6 or 10 lessons. The average package prices are:

  • 6 pack of 30-minute lessons: $270 – $420
  • 6 pack of 1-hour lessons: $450 – $720
  • 10 pack of 30-minute lessons: $400 – $600
  • 10 pack of 1-hour lessons: $700 – $1,100

Are private baseball lessons worth it?

Private baseball lessons may be worth it if your child currently plays the sport, loves it, and has expressed an interest in improving their skills and performance. Private lessons can help your child advance their skills, develop good habits, and avoid forming bad habits.

Motivation and a drive to improve are key factors in whether or not the lessons will actually help your child. It's important for your child to practice in between private lessons.

Children who receive private baseball lessons are usually more likely to advance to playing at higher levels than children who only receive group coaching during regular team practice. However private lessons don't guarantee your child will play collegiate or professional baseball.

What is the difference between private and semi-private baseball lessons?

In a private baseball lesson, the athlete trains one-on-one with an instructor who tailors the lesson specifically to their needs and skill level. In a semi-private lesson, two athletes work together with one instructor. Semi-private lessons, also called partner lessons, typically cost 10% to 20% less than private lessons. However, because the trainer's attention is divided between the two athletes, the athletes don't get the same level of individualized instruction as they would in a private lesson.

What age should you start pitching lessons?

Baseball instructors generally recommend that children start pitching lessons at around 8 to 12 years old, though there are no age requirements or exact rules. Learning fundamental pitching skills early on can help your child avoid developing bad habits that will be difficult for them to break later.

However, your child should not start taking pitching lessons until they are comfortable throwing the ball as well as catching the ball one-handed.

Very Helpful in providing constant feedback on my swing, sending me drills to do for both fielding and hitting, and having basically 24/7 advice whenever I need it

As I walked from the field tonight with 2 14 yr Olds who have played ball since 5 togather and been to multiple Dixie world series and won. Who have played with the best and heard them talk about the best practice they have ever been too even though they hurt and how hot it was all they could talk about was going back next week. Conditioning, infield, batting and positive coaching. BELIEVE IN THE SYSTEM can't wait to see what this summer holds and there's no world series on the line........ Thank you Andrew and Austin!!!!
