About
What I offer is what I call "Teaching on the trail". There's always things to see and new skill sets to learn. English or Western beginner and intermediate offered.
Watching and hearing the positive progress when people are learning. I was formally certified as an assistant clinician with Horsemanship Safety Association. Keeping things fun, light and entertaining, since 1996. I will give you some hints and ideas to shape a skill and then you have lots of time to practice your skill out in the woods. Way more fun and lots more time than you get in an arena setting. 2 hours is $99 per person. If 2'hours feels like a long time I may have some locations that we can do $79 for an hour or $89 for 1.5. Add $10 if an individual. Text me to get a good time and date and the GPS location of where we will meet and then book it online thru the link provided with a $30 nonrefundable deposit when you book your date and time.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We spend some time discussing what your goals and dreams are.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
40 years of experience with horses and more experience with the humans.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Because what I do is different from most instructors I usually have you on the horse for two hours. $99 per person.
How did you get started teaching?
Started out teaching children in 4-H how to ride.
What types of students have you worked with?
From two years old to 87 years old. Students who wish to learn all different disciplines from barrel racing to foxhunting to jumping to dressage.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Great Florida Cattle Drive ' 16. I had 16 horses on the ride. 100% completion.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find out if your instructor has knowledge and multiple ways to explain exactly what point they're trying to get across. And can we have fun doing it.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
As a beginner if that is truly what you are you don't even really know how to explain what you're looking for. And for my students that's completely fine. We start fresh and you get to experience all of the different types of equipment in several different disciplines. If you're what they now call an advanced beginner you might start to get an idea of, gee I want to ride Western or I want to ride English or I want to sort cows or I want to do long trail rides or I want to ride drrssage or I want to learn to jump. All of these things are possible.
