Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Students get to experience horsemanship at its finest in the most thorough sense. We walk them thru each step covering the why's, how's and whats and when’s.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been teaching for 37 years, taught thousands of students how to ride, started and finished hundreds of horses, show at the highest level and adept in helping students achieve their goals. You and your horse's education is our only agenda.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Lessons are approximately an hour long.
Lesson Packages expire 6 weeks after purchase.
4 lessons for $240.
8 lessons for $440.
Single lessons $65.
How did you get started teaching?
My aunt was a riding instructor and when she got colon cancer I took over her business and have been teaching ever since.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Not all instructors are created equal. We teach, ride, train and show for a living, not as a past time or for extra income. Do your homework. Check out several places and compare what services you get for what you’ll be paying. Ask for references and experience levels and achievements. We train horses and riders at the highest levels.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
You need to know what your goals are. You need to hire someone that can help you achieve those goals steadily and safely.
