About
Trish Beucher began her career as a golf professional in the Greater Chicagoland area in 1989. She became a Class A member in the Illinois Section of the PGA, and the Midwest Section of the LPGA in 1992. She also became a full member of the USGTF in 1992.
Trish had the honor and privilege of learning how to play and teach golf from one of the world's leading golf professionals. Manuel De la Torre, who was a top 5 teacher in the world was the first person to be inducted into the PGA teaching Hall of Fame. Trish was mentored by Manuel for the first 25 years of her career. She is one of a handful of instructors around the world that teaches Club focused instruction. She participates each year in a teaching and coaching seminar, teaching new professionals the concepts that she has learned from her Mentor Manuel De la Torre.
In 1994, Trish was nominated for “Teacher of the Year” for the Wisconsin Section of the PGA, and was one of the Illinois, and Wisconsin top 10 teachers. She then moved to Florida in 1999. In 2000, Trish was named “Teacher of the Year” for the USGTF, (United States Golf Teachers Federation), an honor that she held for 2 years. She owned and operated the state of Florida’s first ever “Indoor Golf Learning Center” 8:15 Tee Time Inc., from 1999 through 2005. She has taught golfers of all skill levels and ages throughout her 25+ year career.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Typically, I like to get a full history of a student's golf background and experience. It is much easier to build a relationship and work with a student to improve their golf game if I know where they are coming from.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked for over 25 years as a club, teaching, and playing professional. I have been certified by the PGA of America the LPGA, and the USGTF.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My typical prices are $60 for a half hour lesson, $110 for a one-hour lesson. However, when a student purchase is a series of either three or six lessons, they get an extra lesson at no additional cost.
How did you get started teaching?
I swung my first Golf Club at the age of 16 and became an assistant golf professional at the age of 18. My teaching career started then.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students of all ages, genders, and abilities. I have worked with brand new beginners, to aspiring professionals.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Perhaps my most fond experience in recent history was working with a young 14 year old aspiring professional. We worked on his putting for about 20 minutes and he went on the following week to win the junior PGA tournament he was involved in.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
A prospective student must first evaluate their goals. How much time they are willing to put into practice and learning, and how open they are to learning new Concepts and ideas.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
A student must think about how willing they are to practice and learn new Concepts and ideas about golf. My teaching method focuses on the tool that we use and not the body that we have.
