South Florida Golf Instruction

South Florida Golf Instruction’s philosophy is to make sure the student has a better understanding of the golf swing and for them to know why they are making the changes we ask them to make. At South Florida Golf Instruction we like for the student to not focus on a bad swing and what they do wrong – because what they do wrong really does not matter – what matters is that the student knows what they have to do right. When the student knows what they have to do right, they are able to fix themselves and become their own teacher.

​South Florida Golf Instruction accomplishes the latter by first understanding the students goals and their physical abilities, then we devise a plan to accomplish those goals. No matter what the goals are, we always begin with fundamentals. Because without the proper fundamentals anything we teach will not take. From there we address swing plane as well as why we must do certain things in the swing for other things to take place (also known as action/reaction).

If the student does not know how a position feels – then it is very difficult for them to produce and get in the needed position. Everyone learns different - therefore, at South Florida Golf Instruction we use V1 video analysis and training aids to help the student gain a better understanding and feel of their golf swing.

South Florida Golf Instruction also makes sure the student understands the best way to practice and get the most out of their lesson.

We take great pride in the students getting better and reaching their goals – because when it is all over – that is one of our goals.

​At South Florida Golf Instruction we are always learning this game and how to teach better. We listen to and watch our students, peers, and we continue to study the game, because of this our teaching style/philosophy may change slightly. However the thing that will not change is the devotion to the student.

Helping students learn, understand, and enjoy golf is very rewarding. When a student smiles because they have made a great swing or because I have given information in a way they understand - believe me that is very rewarding for a golf instructor.
