About
I am a retired PGA golf instructor with 18 years in the business. I have worked alongside some of the top 100 Golf Magazine instructors. I have been certified through the David Leadbetter Certification Program. I have worked with the Gary Gilchrist Golf Academy, as well as with Hank Haney and the International Junior Golf Academy.
I am a certified professional club fitter with Titleist, Taylor Made and Ping. I am certified Aim Point instructor and I have extensive experience with Trackman and SAM putting labs.
I have taught over 150 junior golfers worldwide. I have personally helped guide over 50 junior golfers enter college golf programs and have taught golfers on the LPGA, PGA and European PGA Tours respectively.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Start with the fundamentals. I will check their grip, posture, alignment first and see if there are any physical impairments which will alter their swing and then take video and analyze. Then discuss a plan on how I can help them improve through specific drills which will allow them to improve quickly and effectively.

My rate is $150 for 90 minutes but I will negotiate if we agree to a long term training program.
How did you get started teaching?
My father is a golf professional and I started at a young age. I have 20 years experience as a golf professional.

Beginners, top ranked amateurs and professionals.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Pick someone who has solid credentials and experience with proven results.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What is my long term plan? Will my instructor give me drills to help me while I am on my own practicing and will the instructor help me own my own swing?
