About
I have been teaching for over 25 years and love it. I keep up with the technology and the bodies functional motion. I know there is not one perfect swing but a perfect swing for each player. I want to get you to that swing. If you are new to the game you need nothing but a willingness to learn. I will supply the best equipment in the game for lessons and help you to make an educated purchase based on your ability and pocket book. I want you to play to your best.
All most everything. I get to work with all levels of play, different personalities, diverse age, income and background. It is alway fun to help someone achieve a level they did not know they could get to. I love that golf is not exact and there are many ways to teach and many ways to have your student learn.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Get to know them. Past sports, injuries, what do they know or think they know about the swing. What are short term and long term goals. Then see what they are doing in their swing and how can my education with TPI (a professional functional movement certification) improve their motion or do we need to modify their swing based on their ability.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Class A LPGA instuctor,
TPI certified level 2 golf mechanics (titleist performance institute)
Certified U.S Kids Instructor

How did you get started teaching?
I loved the game growing up and wanted to play on the LPGA tour. I played everyday in high school and wanted to be a lady gator at UF. Unfortunately I had series knee injury that ended that dream but I knew I wanted to stay in golf so I turned to teaching and never looked back.
What types of students have you worked with?
Easier to say what type have I not worked with. I have 6 camps in the summer. My students range from 5 to 85. Men and women. I have scratch golfers and those that have never touched a club. I work with the wounded warrior project on clinics and the PGA Hope program for adaptive golf for VETS.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
PGA hope program. The vets are so greatful for being helped. It is also fun but a challange to create a repeatable swing when dealing with individual adaptations. Very rewarding.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure you can communicate and trust each other. It is a two way street. We want you to be the best you can be. Be upfront with what your expectations are and be flexible with the response.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
what are they really willing to do to get better. Be realistic but be challanged.
