Hi, I’m Erin Christopher. I’ve been riding and training for over 15 years. I enjoy helping horse and rider reach their full potential. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned rider, I adjust my teaching techniques to cater to each individual rider and their needs. I have worked under some of the best in the industry, such as barrel horse futurity trainer, Kelsey Lutjen, reined cow horse trainer, Jenny Sherbo, and cutting horse trainer, Randy Brooks. Erin is wonderful!! One of the best people I’ve worked with in the horse industry. Erin is one of the hardest workers who will always go above and beyond. She’s always professional and truly wants to help you succeed. She’s a great teacher, and she really puts her whole heart into what she’s doing. She’s great at teaching all ages and skill levels. From little kids to adults and beginners to advanced riders, Erin is a great teacher for everyone. She has specifically helped me improve immensely in a short amount of time, and she’s been the best teacher I’ve had. What is your typical process for working with a new student?

Student must have their own horse.
Student can bring their horse to me or I can travel to the student.

I teach how to build a better relationship with horse and rider. Also to teach rider how to instruct their horse to complete maneuvers ranging in difficulty. Whether that's on the ground, barrel pattern, roping, liberty work or basic horsemanship.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have completed multiple internships/programs with top trainers in the industry over the last 8 years. Over that course of time I worked under reining, cutting, dressage and barrel horse trainers. I have trained and competed on horses that have gone on to compete at the highest levels. I have taken pride in my lesson program by always making sure the student is gaining valuable insight and understanding each lesson.

I also have had the honor of training and competing on some amazing barrel racing athletes such as Designer Rockette(Designer Red) Dash Ta First Prize(Eddie Stinson), Heavenly Red(JLDTH)and Stinsons Flyin Hawk(Eddie Stinson). Along with putting the first 90 days under saddle on Heavens Firewater (JLDTH), Stinsons Lady Hawk(Eddie Stinson), Famous Jet Bailey(Eddie Stinson), Stinsons Freckles (Eddie Stinson), RB Dashin Romeo(Dash Ta Fame), RB Driftin Fame (Dash Ta Fame) and many more.
