About
We offer a variety of services, such as hay sales, horse boarding, riding lessons (western and events), consignment horses, conditioning and training, as well as farm-sitting while youre on vacation!!!! We are family oriented with fun individuals that really take our job to our heart and would love to share it with others!!!
Being with the horses! I love them, they are my passion! I also love seeing the smiles on my students show after weeks of hard work and tears when they get their first check, or the run their first race! Its so satisfying for me and them! To share my love of horses with others is something that I am very blessed to get to do!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Depending on age and past experience, we start by naming the parts of the horse and saddle, we show how to properly saddle, and first couple of lessons is centered around building confidence and tending to the needs of the animal. We learn direction, stop and go, amd what to do in case of an emergency. Once we have all of that down, we start doing obstacles and advancing from there, learning to trot and lope. We go on trail rides, as well as different horse shows around the area.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have been in the horse business for years, and have built quite a following. I have worked fir several different barns, and have studied under many horsemen amd women. I'm self taught. As far as eventing, I have placed several times and won money, buckles, and saddles.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
For lessons, we charge $30/hr with an hour minimum, amd prefer to do lessons at least once a week. We have found that the person is able to retain the lesson better this way, specially if they dont have a horse at home to practice on.
If the person is interested in learning the events, the individual is responsible for their own entry fees/stalls, and the payment on my portion varies, but it is discussed beforehand, just depends on how much work is done on my portion, as well as other variables, but it starts at $50.
How did you get started teaching?
I really enjoy showing others what i have learned on my own. Knowledge is power, and we believe that what we have learned needs to be shared to keep this sport alive!
What types of students have you worked with?
We have worked with children as young as 2 years old all the way till 17!!! We are also looking at doing special needs children in the future!! Keep us in your prayers with that!!! We are excited!
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
We typically do A LOT of barrel racing, however we do cowboy challenges, trail rides, and pole bending
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Be completly honest and precise on what your end goal is....are you just wanting to know how to ride, to say you have done it? Are you wanting to barrel race, rope, teach others yourself, or just trail ride? What is your final dream as to why your wanting to learn to ride..that way the instructor knows exactly what your after and can help you get there. Also, horse people (really anyone) can be blunt....its not cause we are being mean, its cinstructive criticism!!! You hired us to teach you. Ask questions!!!!!! Lots!!!!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
1. What is my end goal with riding?
2. Do you want to learn english, western, or both? Does that barn have the capabilities of doing such..example: we only teach western....but I can reference you to someone else that does English...
3. Can I work off some of the lessons? (Clean stalls, clean n oil tack, groom the arena, drag pastures, etc) the worst they can say is no, but theres normally something that you can help with around a barn
