Everyone on the farm is so welcoming and knowledgeable. Regan is an excellent teacher. She knows so much about her horses and loves them so much. She was very conscious that my daughter is sensitive and requires a lot of cheering on. I love that they include caring for the horses as part of the lesson, and they’re always so accommodating. We’ve been going there for about 2 months now, and we won’t stop!

    Frequently asked questions

The first lesson will be centered around getting the student comfortable in the new environment and with the horses. This lesson will also allow me to gauge what the student already knows and where to go from there based on the student's personal goals.

I have been riding for five years. Over the last year, I started working with and training rescued horses.

Yes, private beginner lessons are $50 per lesson.

I love sharing my knowledge of riding with others.

I have taught students ages 4-12.

One of my fondest memories is getting to gait my horse for the first time. After being injured and having no previous training to our knowledge, it was a slow process getting her to walk under saddle. Getting her to the point where she can gait and move further into her training is a huge accomplishment for us.

The way your teacher treats the animals should be your first concern. Find someone that not only treats the animals with respect, but with love and compassion as well.

Students should ask themselves what their goals are and how far they want to go with their riding skill and knowledge, whether it be simply trail riding or competing later on.
