Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I can teach anyone 8 years of age or older. I require that every student must have a set of clubs that they can use to learn the essential golf swing movements. After building the swing and golf basics, I will take the student to play on the golf course to give them some hands on training. I never rush my student to learn. Golf is a sport that you must practice often in order to see positive results.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a CIF National Coach who has recieved training online and completed an updated Adult and Infant CPR courses.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I charge $45 for 1.5 hours. I train all my students on the range first and provide take home information for them to review for the next upcoming lesson.
How did you get started teaching?
I've been playing and coaching golf for over 20 years. As a youth I assisted my instructor to help motivate the younger golfers to push forward towards success.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with clients 8 years of age and older.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
After every bad shot, I would suggest you say that was a good miss so you can move forward and use your practice time to reflect and correct those errors.
