Justin A. Brown, PGA Lessons
About
I am first and foremost dedicated to helping students of any skill level enjoy and develop their game to their maximum potential. I have been in the golf industry for over 10 years now and my true passion is helping golfers become the best they possibly can be! I am a PGA Professional with the GA Section and a golf instructor at Southern Landings Golf Club in Warner Robins, GA. In 2019 I was awarded the Youth Player Development award with the Central Chapter (GA Section) and in 2020 was awarded Golf Professional of the year with the Central Chapter.
I enjoy the smile or demeanor change when a student hits a good golf shot, their entire mood changes and gets them right back into the lesson. I have students who will text me with their newest accomplishment and it makes me beyond proud of them knowing they are getting results that they desire.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I want to get to know the student first and see what their thoughts and desires are with learning the game of golf. I will always asset their game whether that be on the driving range or on course play. I build each lesson around the individual. I do not just teach one swing, I will work with the students' swing and make subtle changes to help them improve the most.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a PGA Professional

There is always room to better your game no matter your skill level.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
The Head Golf Professional at Southern Landings GC Tom Flick has had a variety of health issues over the past few months and the club hosted an event in his honor and to donate the proceeds to him as well. It was a huge turn out and truly touched my heart for him and his family.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find someone who has a true passion for the game and that you can feel comfortable talking with throughout your journey to become a better player!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
There is no bad question when it comes to this game that we all have a love for. If anything comes to your mind, always ask it, the main desire I have as a Golf Instructor is to make sure the student is enjoying themselves while gaining skills with each lesson that is taken.
