Matthew is an outstanding golf pro! Before our first lesson, I had never been on a course or even held a club (other than a few embarrassing experiences at TopGolf and Putt-Putt). It is obvious that Matthew eats and breathes golf and has such a love for the game. He is able to instruct with patience (a lot in my case) and enthusiasm. After only 10 lessons with Matthew, I feel confident to play a round with clients where I would not dream of doing so before. I sought lessons out of curiosity, but I can see now why this game is so amazing..thanks to Matthew.

    Frequently asked questions

First we like to have an assessment lesson, which works like this:

    1. Meet for the first time, social aspect of coming together

    2. Assessment via watching different shots, and golf swings, even taking some video

    3. A diagnosis, and an explination of our suggestions as to the blue print we believe will help the student reach their goals.

    4. Implement an action plan for moving forwards i.e. next lesson, and what will be the first steps

I have worked with some of the countries best amateurs, as well as high level D1, D2, and D3 players. I have worked with two of the worlds largest junior golf Academies, and have a degree in PGA Golf Management as well as being a PGA of America member. I am SAM Puttlab Level 2 certified as well as a BodiTrak Ground Mechanics certified expert.

Yes, Adult private is $85, Junior under 10 is $50, and a junior between the ages of 10-18 is $70. Lesson packages reduce the lesson fee quite some.

Played professionaly, and always enjoyed teaching as i recieved education at college and university myself.

Beginner juniors at the age of 4 to adults playing professional golf.

I suggest looking at someone that not only has a good reputation, and experience, but is always learning and growing as an instructor by constabtly acquiring qualifications, or learnig experiences in some form. For example I like to go and spend time with professors, and experts in diffefrent domains to enhance my own skills, as well as complete certification courses.

Does the coach have a system - not method, but a system they work through?

If the answer is yes then you know the teacher is passionate about helping their students improve and has had success.

Does the teacher do the same to all individuals?

If the answer is yes then the teacher does not look at students as individuals, which is not good. Not everyone develops the same way.
