Abigale Schepperle Golf
About
I am currently the player development director of instruction at Steel Canyon Golf Club in Sandy Springs GA. I am also US Kids Certified, and an LPGA Instructor. I currently run the womens and junior programs at the course and teach private instruction. I am passionate about being able to relate to any level of golfer and bringing the best out of them to reach our goals together.
I love to focus on your goals as a student and make the most out of our time together. I find it extremely important as an instructor to make sure that at the end of each lesson we have reached our goal for the lesson and find out what we can take away from our time to move forward or help you on your own time.
Productive practice makes perfect! There are so many ways to get a good practice session in but it is important to make it simple.
Have fun! It is hard to get any positive practice in without enjoying what you are doing, so get out there and have fun!
Being able to do what I love to do and helping others!
I love to see my students succeed!

How did you get started teaching?
My father who I learned golf from is a PGA Instructor as well has played on tour and is currently caddying full time on the Senior Tour.
I learned from my father-with him being my teacher all throughout my junior and college career and found a passion in helping others.
My parents own their own business that sells golf training aids called PVC Sports and with learning both sides of the business I knew instruction and helping others is what my passion is about.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students of all ages! From as little as 3 years old up to any age!
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I have so many fond memories. Every student is special to me in different ways. I must say my favorite part about any lesson is finding that "ah-ha" moment.
When you have a goal and you and your student are both able to see it come to light is such an amazing and powerful moment!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Trust your gut! Finding the right instructor is an investment! If you dont see yourself being able to relate or believing in the type of instruction they are bringing to you- dont be afraid to find someone who you do believe in.
Just as you have to believe in your ability- you must believe in the type of instruction that is being give and have fun with it!
