About

I have been teaching in the Marietta, Smyrna and Powder Springs area for over 12 years. I take pride in watching my students grow as riders and accomplish their goals.

I give Hunter and Jumper lessons to beginners to advanced riders. I coach IEA for both middle schoolers and high schoolers. I have students who participate in 4H and compete at the state level. I also offer to bring students to local GHJA shows.

My child has taken riding lessons with Molly at Big Leaps for almost 2 years. The two main things I look at for riding instruction, animal care and child interaction, and she easily meets both. She quickly won us over with her kind, calm personality and her obvious love for her horses. There is no doubt that she loves what she does and that her horses are adored and well cared for. Molly has shown tremendous patience and persistence and we have enjoyed every lesson with her and her sweet horses.

Molly is an incredible trainer and person who knows when to praise and when to push! Our family has been riding with her for over 6 years and she has led us through lessons, summer camps, local schooling shows, 4H shows, IEA shows, and GHJA shows. She even guided us through becoming horse owners. She has a superb knowledge base in horses and training, which she regularly shares with us. We would not be the horse family we are today without her! We give her the highest recommendation!

We’ve been riding with Molly for 2 years now and have been extremely happy. Molly really takes pride in teaching. My daughter Emily has had a lot of progress since being under Molly’s coaching. She is safety conscious when it comes to the rider and the horse. All in all she is the perfect instructor!!!

Frequently asked questions

Students brand new to horseback riding will learn the basics of steering and stopping. They will learn how to groom and tack up a horse. New riders will set goals to work towards. They will learn the correct riding position as well as safety on and off the horse.

When I was 16 years old I started teaching friends. When I turned 18 I turned my passion into a business and grew my riding program to what it is today.

I have worked with riders as young as 5 years old and as old as 65. It is never too late to learn to ride!

My first year of coaching IEA, our team tied for first place at the Regional horse show.
