Wonderful instruction and guidance throughout the entire lesson. She pays attention to every detail and is very positive throughout the process.

2. review their back ground in riding - new/little experience is OK!

How did you get started teaching?

I was asked to teach a few riders at my barn after our trainer left and found I really loved helpng them learn and explain how to move their bodies from my fitness training lingo and help them shape the horse. They loved the responses and seeing progress every lesson. I was hooked and started teaching regularly.

What types of students have you worked with?

I've work with all types of students who have their own horse or need to start on a dressage lesson horse kids to adults ages 6-69+.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

I'm working on training my young horse who I started myself. I'm also rehabbing a horse who is very hot and sensitive and teaching him he can trust me.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Ride with someone who shares your passion and is willing to go the extra mile to inspire you to ride your best and meet your goals. Oh, and laugh and have lots of fun!

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

1. Are you ready to train and get better at riding and horse care?
