Paul Killgallon, PGA Professional Golf Lessons

I have been with Troon Golf since 2000 at the Club at Savannah Harbor. I am the Head Teaching Professional at the club giving private, group and semi-private instruction to all ages of students. My passion is teaching the game of golf to juniors. I run all the Summer Sports golf camps, private and after school programs. I have been teaching since 2004 and received my Class A PGA certificaton in November of 2008. I became a U. S. Kids Golf certified Coach and Instructor in December 2014. In December 2015 I was chosen as a 2015 U. S. Kids Golf Honorable Mention Top 50 Kids Teacher. In 2013 I was also selected as a PGA Georgia East Chapter Junior Golf Leader of the Year.

Teaching kids sportsmanship, etiquette and the rules of golf are vitally important to learning the game. It is just as important as learning the fundamentals of the swing. I believe in a very simplistic approach to teaching the game. Allowing each student to learn golf by making it easy and not to difficult is vitall to understanding the game. I believe in not getting in the way of the student but giving them the knowledge and tools to have fun and play the game. But above all the most important thing in golf is having fun!
