Terry Davis, Asian Seniors Tour professional offers a program designed to help you as the golfer gain a better understanding of your individual swing. What places us above the others is my ability to pay close attention to your bodies composition to work within your physical limitations to improve and lower your scoring average. Here at Pars or Better, you can find everything you need. Our golf instruction makes your understanding of the mechanics of how to synchronize what your body already knows how to do, while incorporating the golf swing. I have studied many school taught and step-by-step methods and have developed the ideal way to improve your learning experience; providing high-quality instruction and customer satisfaction. Working with the student instead of just telling the student, my techniques for teaching provides a better and faster way to grasp the necessary knowledge to reach success. How did you get started teaching?
Had a gift for observing individuals to show them the ideal way to get better results for their golf game. Head golf professional at the Heidelberg Golf Course suggested I pursue a career in golf instruction. After completion of course study, I vested in learning as much as possible to help others enjoy the game of golf
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with all levels of players. Students ranging from as young as 5 years old to professionals in the golf industry. Young teenagers are the most influential because they tend to want direction and looking for ways to better themselves in life.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
There is not one event which I can say strikes as special. Each time I have a student give me a look as if the light shinned in their mind. When I see the look in their faces of complete understanding on the hard work necessary to become proficient.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
One of the most import measures of advice I could give a student is to follow and stick with the process. For some it will be easy and others difficult, but regardless of the time it takes to accomplish your goals it's well worth the journey.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Their purpose for golf, you don't have to want to be a professional golfer, however if this is your dream/goal be honest with your instructor. The more an instructor knows about your goals for the game of golf the better he/she will be able to instruct.
