About
My purpose is to empower people to reach their golfing potential.
When you go to take lessons with me, I make sure to get to know my students, provide a plan for students to get better, which ultimately results have more fun enjoying the game.
I have been fortunate and blessed to play the game since age 7 and have experience teaching students of all levels, beginner to advanced.
I have been teaching for 6 years and my passion is to teach people. I am always open to learning as it pertains to new ways to help my students. I myself make it a point to be a student of the game, and that helps me to be better as helping students get better.
I enjoy seeing people improve and learn to love the game. I enjoy building friendships, mentoring and empowering youth. I enjoy partnering with the student to fulfill their golfing goals.

I observe, ask a lot of questions, and introduce concepts I feel help the student understand better and helps them play better.
I try to keep the lesson to 90%coaching and 10%instruction, because it's my goal to learn something new from each lesson as well. How did you get started teaching?
My High School Golf Coach inspired me to become a PGA Professional. I started teaching private lessons at Waikele GC in 2008. I began doing PING Clubfitting Sessions in 2009 at Kaneohe Klipper GC. I truly discovered my love for teaching people how to play golf in 2014, when I began teaching groups of junior golfers at Ko Olina GC. I taught adult beginner to advanced groups, up to 6 students in a class. My juniors were from 6-12 students in a class. I also was the lead instructor for our Ho'Okipa I Po'Okela Non-Profit Jr Golf Program at Ko Olina - a group ranging from age 9-17yrs, of up to 15 students in a class. I enjoy teaching people and it is rewarding to see them improve, most importantly, building relationships with them and being their biggest supporter in seeing them fulfill their golfing potential.
What types of students have you worked with?
Juniors age 5-17, Adults, Seniors, & Women.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find a teacher you feel comfortable with, who has your best interest at heart, listens to your concerns, and someone you can see as a role model not just for golf, but life as well.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Why do I play golf?
What are my goals, what am I trying to achieve?
Why am I taking lessons?
What financial commitment am I willing to invest to get better?
