I have been playing baseball since I was 5 and have never stopped loving the game since starting. I played baseball all thw way up through high school where I then focused on college. While in college at Kent State Univerity i found my passion and love for coaching. I started coaching for a travel baseball organization named the DiamondBoys based out of Hudson, OH. While there I was the 16U assistant coach, 10U Blue Head Coach, and 10U White Team Fall Ball coach. After moving back to Columbus, I coached Two Years as one of the Black Hat Division Head Baseball Coaches for the WYBSL. I then coached Two seasons as the Head JV Coach at Cardington

I played d1 baseball at WVU. Was a career .300 hitter! My partner Shawn Jeter played professionally for 12 years. Learned under Walt Riniak!

Back 2 Basics was created to teach young athletes the basics skills needed to be fundamentally sound specializing in baseball and basketball. With my training, athletes will see their athletic IQ increase and begin to develop a work ethic that will give them a chance to make it to the next level and secure a future sports scholarship. We promote the importance of academic highly because having success on and off the field is what seperates great atheletes from the average atheletes. I enjoy working with young athletes because they keep me younglol. Also I enjoy seeing atheletes work to improve their craft and the progress that comes with it....
