What is your typical process for working with a new student?
It depends on the discipline and their level of riding. We do beginners to advanced.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I apprenticed for 8 years been to multiple judges clinic and training clinics. I have judged horse shows for the last 30 years.

I loved horses my whole life, and started showing in my very early years.

I have worked with all ranges of students.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I'm president of the Pacific Northwest Quarter Horse Association, we formed this in January of 2020. We put on shows and clinics, we feel it essential to have educational clinics. We just had one on September 19 and 20th of 2020.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure that you like and trust your teacher. Find out how long they have been teaching and what their students have accomplished. Go watch them give lessons check out several places and get recommendations.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What their goals are, what discipline they like and ask your trainer what they think your best suited for.
