Her knowledge of the different music literature and composers is vast and she imparts a style of playing as taught by her very well-known teachers.
In addition, she is very patient, understanding, and acts as an excellent guide. Working with her has truly broadened my understanding of Musical Interpretation and more fundamentally, Sound.
I cannot recommend studying with her enough. Whether you are returning to the piano after a long hiatus (like I did), or just beginning no matter what the age, you cannot go wrong studying with her.
Finally, as a working Concert Pianist, Dr. Yulia organizes a series of Recitals, Student Concerts, Masterclasses, and is very involved in various Festivals. Her students can and are encouraged to participate and from personal experience, I can say that these supplementary activities, in addition to regular lessons, have been invaluable.

Dan is an incredibly knowledgable teacher. His experience playing on cruise ships, piano bars and loads of other gigs brings a depth to his teaching that can't be beat.
Dan taught me a library of left hand patterns, and right hand riffs that make the blues so enjoyable at home. He has also helped me to translate some of his blues playing to my harp. Very exciting.
He's patient, funny and has loads of stories. Highly recommended if you're an intermediate and up player.

I am an adult student of John O’Keefe. I have studied with him for the past nine years. I knew how to read music when I started studying with him and was only playing what had already been written. My primary focus was to learn how to play standard tunes by reading chord progressions. John’s teaching has taken me through the formation of chords, explanation of what makes them different (7th’s, 9th’s, 11th’s, 13th’s) and the best way to play them (voicings) so as to bring so much color to the music. I love learning music theory, the “how to” and “why” of the music. He teaches and explains in a manner which is easily understood.
My weakness has been timing but we have incorporated exercises focused on different time signatures. John’s suggestions how to practice these exercises have been invaluable and I can hear an improvement.
He is very knowledgeable about music, is committed to his students and is very encouraging to the student through the learning process and taking you to the next level. The studio is a very neat and organized environment. There is a choice for having lessons on a digital piano or an acoustic piano (my personal choice). The studio is high tech so I was able to have one of the songs I learned recorded.
I highly recommend John O’Keefe whether you are a beginner, someone who has been on hiatus for many years and looking to get back to studying piano again or looking for a teacher to help you advance in your studies.

Tad has been wonderful! His expertise and training really shine through the lessons with my children. He has suggested specific books that will address their areas of need while also keeping in mind their song/style interests and goals. Tad provides challenging yet engaging lessons that have already expanded their skill level.
