I like to give my students an in-depth approach of how the golf swing works. I like to think of it as an education. Learning the cause and effect of why and how the golf ball moves, will make my student a better golfer in a shorter amount of time. Together we will come up with a plan to help you reach your goals. We will then focus on all areas of the game (driver, irons and short game).
First of all, I enjoy teaching golf because I love the game. It gives me great satisfaction when my student shoots his/her career low round. Watching my student hit his/her longest drive ever is such an exciting experience.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I typically work with a student using a three step process:
1. Discuss current game and set goals
2. Video swing
3. Compose a comprehensive plan to help the student reach his/her goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from the Golf Academy of America in 2010 with an Associates Degree in Golf Course Management. Upon graduation I worked at Robert Trent Jones Golf Club as a caddie and a member of the outside service staff. I also worked at Panther Creek Golf Club in Springfield, IL as an Assistant Golf Professional in the summer of 2013.
I recently worked as a certified personal coach at GolfTEC in Oak Brook, IL. In the past 3 years I have taught over 6,000 lessons and built strong, lasting relationships with my clients. The combination of teaching goal-driven golf lessons and my comprehnsive approach has proven to be very successful.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with all types of students. I welcome the opportunity to work with young children. As a member of my high school golf team, I would love to work with aspiring high school students. During my time at GolfTec, I worked with students of all ages and abilities.
