About
We are a physical therapy-based golf health and fitness training program. We are unique in the industry as we are able to evaluate and handle injury issues as well as prescribe customized golf-specific physical training. We work with many teaching professionals to improve their student's posture, muscle flexibility, joint mobility, balance, and strength so they are able to get more out of their lessons. Pros often look at WHAT you do in your swing; we look at the WHY. We have been in the business since 1993 when there really was no talk of golf fitness; now it is a world-wide industry. We work with a very motivated clientele from beginners to Tour players.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
A comprehensive initial evaluation is the key to our and our client's success. Our two-hour evaluation starts with a head to toe orthopedic physical evaluation, a video swing analysis, a BodiTrak balance assessment and a K-vest 3-D swing evaluation. We learn a lot about how your body affects your swing and how your swing might affect your body.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor's and Master's in physical therapy and was an orthopedic spine specialist at the Chicago Institute of Neurosurgery and Neuroresearch when I began lecturing nationally on the subject of golf health, performance and fitness. I am certified through TPI, the Titleist Performance Institute, as a Level 3 Medical Professional and a Level 2 Junior Coach. I am also certified though the CHEK Institute as a Golf Biomechanic. I gave my first Golf Health and Wellness lecture in 1993 and I am beginning my 20th year with my independent FitGolf business.
What types of students have you worked with?
We work with Beginners to Tour Players.
