They focus on simple, concise movements that massively improved my ball striking consistency. The sensor system they use is also pretty awesome in giving real-time feedback of what your body is actually doing when trying to dial in the new techniques.

Tim drastically improved my golf game in a few lessons by changing the way my body moved in the golf swing. His drills will fix your muscle memory (and your swing) without having to set foot on a range. I stuck with the drills and lessons and went from a 100+ player to regularly scoring in the low 80s. It was not a coincidence that I got my first hole-in-one six weeks after my first lesson with Tim. I cannot recommend him enough to anyone looking to make a great leap forward in their golf game.

Tim changed my game completely. Before working with him I had gotten a couple Groupon lessons with other lessons with other teachers that offered nothing but "quick fixes" that didn't work. Tim evaluated where I was at and asked me where I wanted to get to. I have gone from flicking the ball with all my weight on my back foot to actually compressing the ball with a nice balanced swing. Tim is a great teacher and really loves what he does. The best thing I like about working with him is that he gets more excited than I do when he sees the improvements to my game. I highly recommend Golf in Motion

Tim took my swing from looking like the tasmanian devil to smoking drives straight down the pipe. He’s made golf fun to play now. I can’t wait till my next lesson!

PGA Tour trained Fitting Specialist Mizuno USA.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

How did you get started teaching?

I played every sport but Golf as a kid. Played baseball in college but I was awful at golf. I could not believe I couldn’t hit a ball that was just sitting there.  After countless hours at the range, watching video after video getting tip after tip taking golf lessons that didn’t work.  I realized I was going about it the wrong way.  I was doing the complete opposite of how my brain learns. See we can’t go out to the range and just beat balls. All we are doing is just ingraining what we already have stored up in our body as muscle memory.  I was actually getting worse!! Sound familiar?  Just how a musician learns a song you need to treat golf the same way. We have to learn it in pieces unfortunately. Golf is just like everything else you have ever learned in your life. It’s a process that takes time and hard work.

What types of students have you worked with?

I have worked with complete beginners to Elite players trying to make it on mini tours.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

One of our Junior Golfers won her first IJGA event.  The year before she played in 4 tournaments came in dead last place in three of them. To see her face when she hoisted that trophy was priceless.  She could’ve quit, made excuses but she didn’t she stuck to the process and believed in herself and now she is unstoppable. She’s now in the process of selecting a college to play women’s golf.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Find someone that listens to you and actually cares about you as a person and is not afraid to challenge you.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

Ask themselves what they are looking for in a golf coach. Make sure your comfortable with asking questions and receiving answers that you might not want to hear. Please try and use technology to your advantage, we have so many new tools besides video that make learning fun and easy.
