Anna V. is a talented oboist and gifted instructor. She instills a love of the oboe and music in students as she customizes her instruction to each student’s needs. My student looks forward to each lesson with Anna. She is approachable and charming for young students and experienced for challenging advanced oboists. As a professional musician, Anna’s instruction includes music theory, oboe mechanics and reed care. She sets her students up for success by teaching proper technique. In regards to coronavirus and distancing, my student was lucky to have in person lessons prior to covid. Switching to virtual lessons was seamless. Anna is skilled with the necessary technology to view student fingering, trouble shoot reeds, help set the mic, share screens etc. While in person lessons have the advantage over virtual ones, anyone new to Anna should know that a virtual lesson with her is beneficial. I can highly recommend Anna.
