My passion for horses started at a very young age. I stared riding at the age of 6. I teach and train because I love horses and sharing my knowledge. My mottto in every thing I do is excellence in horse care and training.
I teach English riding with a specialty in hunter jumper and dressage. I also use some natural hormanship methods. I have 20 years experience as well as college classes to my accreditation. My program is safety based. I teach correct and safe methods. I also work with riders on body position and working with their horses or the horses they are riding. I work with each stundt to have a better understand of comunication and partnership with the horses they work with.
Whether your goal is to be successful in the show ring, to become a better rider, or just to learn about horses I can help you. I also have done great work turning problem horses around.

I work out of Dassenbrook Stables and also travel to clients.
I love horses, I love teaching, so to combine the two is amazing!! My favorite part of what I do to watching people learn and grow through their equine experience. Horses can really help people.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When I work with new students and new horses we will go through a bit of a history and talk about goals and goal setting. After that we will come up with and agree upon a plan.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have many years of experience being a student myself. I believe we never stop learning. I continue to educate myself by taking lessons with other professionals and attending clinics. I have two years of college with equine studies classes as well.
