I believe in keeping the sports fun. With fun grows passion, determination and success. There are too many coaches and trainers that over analyze mechanics that remove the basic functions in both Baseball and Golf. My goal with my students is to simplify overall technique and tier to the students natural abilities. Baseball specifically we see kids playing travel ball and 100 games a year but with little instruction and basic game strategy. Many parents including myself find it hard to pay for hitting/pitching and golf lessons and walk away wondering if it is worth it I’m here to fix that. Below are my credentials.
Baseball- Started four years of College Baseball and graduated St. Ambrose University in Davenport IA. In 2006 I was named all conference and all region at College of Dupage and was the starting pitcher in the Midwest Junior College Allstar game. I was then awarded All Conference awards at St. Ambrose my senior year and finished the regular season hitting .405 with 51 RBIs in an extremely competitive conference. In my years I have played with and against many current major league players. As of 2018 I have been a volunteer coach for Downers Grove North Baseball specializing in hitting and pitching development.
Golf- (I am not a Pro and do not hold my card, although I am playing in US Amatuer Qualifiers to earn a tour card at some point. Golf is an obsession of mine and ha e been 99% self taught from trial and error. Just like baseball, Jr and adult weekend warriors try to over complicate the game. I provide instruction that tiers to the Players of all ages and talent. Golf is an amazing game and am here to help in all assets of the game.
I enjoy the progress. It’s hard to explain in words the feeling you get when your student achieves success. It doesn’t matter how big of an improvement it is, it’s the fact that the improvement happened because the student put in the effort and it paid off.
He was able to identify problems with my swing and is quickly putting me on right path. Every lesson I feel like I gained some knowledge to really help my game.
